|
Pennsauken right-hander Matt Davenport pitched his team to victory over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at Pennsauken Park. The final score was 5-1. The Flyers saw their win-loss record go to 11-18. At the same time, the Red Pandas fell to 16-13.
Early in the game, third baseman Carlos Ávila had a run-scoring single for Pennsauken. It was his 5th hit of the season and put the Flyers on top, 2-1.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Ávila told the Pennsauken Citizen.
