Timber Hawks Shut Out Flyers
|
The Augusta Timber Hawks got a strong performance from pitcher Leslie Brooks, who stymied the Pennsauken offense en route to a 3-0 win at Timber Hawks Ballpark. In 7 innings, Brooks surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The Timber Hawks bumped their record to 13-10 with this latest triumph.
Dan O'Day, who was drafted in the two round of the 2026 draft, aided the Augusta cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," O'Day said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
