Coyotes Lose, 5-3, at Pennsauken Park
|
Hamilton catcher Noel Wells had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-3, to Pennsauken at Pennsauken Park. Wells was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Coyotes fall to 6-9 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2029 season.
Roy McFerran was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI for Pennsauken. The 27-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Dave Wheeler. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," McFerran said.
