Deodato Sensational for Coyotes
|
Ezio Deodato never let the Flyers get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Coyotes to a 3-0 win. Rafael Peralta earned the save, his 4th. The Flyers fall to 5-8 and continue their wobbly start to the 2029 season.
Deodato was in the zone all game. He frustrated Pennsauken hitters while giving the Coyotes 8 innings of quality work. Deodato threw 112 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 5 punchouts.
"It feels good to get that win," said Deodato. "Now it's on to the next one."
