Bloomington beat Santa Barbara at Lookouts Ballpark, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Antonio Godfrey, who earned player of the game honors. Bloomington is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 1st in 4 games.

Gabrio Campoverde had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the eighth for the Longnecks. Coming up with the bases loaded and Bloomington trailing 2-1, he hit a bases-clearing double.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Longnecks manager John Muńóz. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
