USPL Double A's Best Batter Announced Monday, September 11th, 2028 So far in his young career, Raúl Chávez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Mercer Island Screaming Eagles center fielder hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 4 hits in 8 at-bats, 3 home runs, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Currently Chávez is batting .295 with 11 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
