Scott Ramsey Chosen SAA's Best Player Saturday, October 7th, 2028 At the age of 23, Scott Ramsey of the Richland Rails could very well have his best years ahead of him. It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2028 was good enough to win the first baseman the USSL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach." The top hitter put up a .310 batting average this year, as well as a .387 on-base percentage. He played 94 games and racked up 107 hits, 18 doubles, no triples, 24 home runs, 90 RBIs and 61 runs scored. Félix Medina of the Richland Rails finished second in voting, while Fernando Martínez of the Myrtle Beach Mermen finished third. |
