2028 SAA Outstanding Pitcher Award Chosen Friday, October 6th, 2028 The Yakima clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Emílio Mavarro will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2028 USSL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award. Mavarro made 20 starts this year, winning 12 and losing 3. He threw 127.2 innings, fanned 116, allowed 70 hits and 47 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .164 average as he logged an impressive 1.83 ERA. Dale Hamilton of the Richland Rails finished second in voting, while Barney Starr of the Richland Rails finished third. |
