Rapiers Duarte Gone for Year Thursday, August 24th, 2028 Playoff hopes of Rapiers player Tomás Duarte have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the center fielder suffered a concussion making a defensive play in today's game against Yakima Hops. Duarte is expected to miss up to 5-6 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. Duarte is batting .224 this season in 86 games with 4 home runs, 25 RBIs and 45 runs scored.
