Langushi and Blakely Suspended, Out 2 Games Friday, July 28th, 2028 During a recent San Bernardino-Springfield game at Field of the Grasshoppers, Natale Langushi of the Grasshoppers and Marcus Blakely of the Shooters got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 2-game suspensions because of their actions. This year Langushi has hit at a .263 pace and produced 34 RBIs, 7 home runs and scored 32 runs. For the season Blakely has made 16 relief appearances, recorded 1 save, compiled a 3-1 won-lost mark and a 4.12 ERA. In pitching 39.1 innings, he has totaled 34 strikeouts and 22 walks. |
