Kirkendall Snags 3AA Batting Honor in June Saturday, July 1st, 2028 Willis Kirkendall put together a good June to earn the M3L Double A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Springfield officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Shooters third baseman posted a .355 batting average with 4 home runs, 22 RBIs and 15 runs scored. For the season Kirkendall is hitting .354, batted in 41 runs with 7 home runs and 31 runs scored. |
