League KO's Grasshoppers-Shooters Players with 4-Game Suspensions Saturday, June 10th, 2028 The league commissioner has issued 4-game suspensions to Enrico Betancourt of San Bernardino and Atila Freska of Springfield. The two players were involved in a confrontation during a recent Grasshoppers-Shooters game at Field of the Grasshoppers and now will miss time because of it. Neither player would comment on the suspensions. Thus far this season Betancourt is hitting .190 with 1 home run, 2 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 4 hits in 21 at-bats and has played in 6 games. This year Freska has posted a record of 2 wins and 2 losses with a 4.74 ERA. He has appeared in 6 games and struck out 27 in 38 innings. |
