Wang Raps Ft. Polk South for 5 Hits Saturday, August 19th, 2028 The Polar Bears whipped the Thunder Hawks 6-5 at The Igloo and Wu-shiun Wang had a big hand in the win. The Polar Bears second baseman came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Wang and a tough day for Ft. Polk South. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Wang delivered today -- 5-for-5 is outstanding in any league. Wu-shiun Wang singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. To date this year Wang is batting .295 with 5 home runs.
