Peret Shuts Out Deuces Friday, August 18th, 2028 In an outstanding outing, Carlos Peret tamed Virginia Beach on a 2-hit shutout. The San Bernardino hurler went the distance, finishing with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 4-0 win. "He had a lot of first pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to the Virginia Beach manager. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."
