Sunset District Starter Named SAAA's #1 Pitcher Tuesday, August 1st, 2028 Over the past month Mal Houser has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USSL Triple A. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Sunset District Fog posted 4-0 mark and a 1.78 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 30.1 innings, permitted 20 hits and fanned 22 batters. This year Houser has recorded a 7-2 mark. In 14 starts he has fanned 55 batters in 85 innings with a 2.96 ERA. |
