Wazowski Wins SAAA Best Player Award Monday, July 24th, 2028 22-year-old Mike Wazowski made a few Sunset District headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 9 hits in 20 at-bats to put up a .450 average. Wazowski collected 1 home run, 3 RBIs and scored 5 runs. In 29 games this season Wazowski has batted at a .369 pace with 41 hits and 5 home runs. |
