Juárez Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Thursday, September 2nd, 2027 Tortolita catcher Gilberto Juárez could do no wrong in today's 13-4 win over the Disaster as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Disaster said to the press corps after the game. Juárez agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Gilberto Juárez singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Ricardo Campos in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
