Sakai Punishes SAAA Pitchers This Week Monday, September 4th, 2028 Pitchers who faced the Naperville Battlekings last week were happy to see Naohiro Sakai in the rear view mirror. The 26-year-old shortstop was dubbed the USSL Triple A Player of the Week for a 7-game tear that saw him hit at a .458 clip. For the week he also chalked up 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this year Sakai is batting .458 with 1 home run. |
