Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Wednesday, August 30th, 2028 If there wasn't a history between Ismael Sandoval of Houston and Rio Bavin of Plymouth, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 games as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Sandoval said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Sandoval is presently hitting at a .259 pace with 3 home runs and 21 RBIs. He has played in 72 games and scored 26 times. So far this season Bavin has compiled a 3-4 record with a 4.72 ERA. |
