Injury Sidelines Dylan Carson For Year
Wednesday, August 9th, 2028
The doctors have spoken and Dylan Carson of the Toledo Stingers didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old center fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Carson sustained his season-ending injury during the Buckhead Bowties game yesterday at Pacesetter Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while being hit by a pitch. Today the Toledo medical staff reported Carson had a fractured cheekbone and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7-8 weeks.

In his season totals, Carson has 12 home runs, .258 BA, .341 OBP, 31 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has played in 52 games.
