Clark Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
Friday, July 28th, 2028
It was a good day all around. Brooklyn whipped Thunder Bay 8-7 and Gerald Clark displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day at Ebbetts Field.

"Some days, lady luck is on your side," he modestly told BNN reporters after the game.

His manager told the beat writers otherwise, "His hitting wasn't luck today. It's his solid approach to hitting. Gerald is focused, patient and he hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have."

The 29-year-old catcher for the Dodgers collected 5 hits in 7 at-bats to get his name in the record book. Gerald Clark hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Rafael Rodríguez in the 6th, singled in the 8th, grounded out in the 9th, singled in the 12th and grounded out in the 14th.

This year Clark is hitting .271 with 64 hits, 1 home run, 33 RBIs and has scored 20 runs.
