Rocky Mountain Ace Wins SL Outstanding Pitcher Award Wednesday, October 25th, 2028 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2028 has been presented and the United States Silver League winner is Juan Guillén of Rocky Mountain. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Guillén. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Nuggets star told reporters. Guillén excelled with an impressive 11-7 record in 23 starts. In 174 innings he yielded 146 hits and 38 walks, while striking out 179 and compiling a fine 2.38 ERA. Eddie Kop of the Brooklyn Dodgers finished second in voting, while Keisuke Nishida of the Chicago Gold Sox finished third. |
