Silver League Names Rookie of Month Friday, September 1st, 2028 Youngster Lupo Cotto emerged as the latest Silver League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Chicago deserved the honor, batting .395 with 4 home runs and 17 runs batted in. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Cotto enjoy the limelight. This season Cotto is hitting at a .307 pace with 11 home runs, 53 RBIs and has scored 48 times. |
