Divided Rodríguez Stops Dodgers Tuesday, August 29th, 2028 D.C. starter Germán Rodríguez really did a number on the Dodgers today, shutting them out 5-0 on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 5 strikeouts. In his postgame comments, the Brooklyn manager said, "We didn't have good at-bats. I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting... seeing as our team has a bunch of pretty good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Germán... he did an outstanding job today."
