Travieso Tosses Shutout Against Syracuse Monday, August 7th, 2028 In an excellent mound performance, Jorge Travieso of the Bellevue Bruins whitewashed the Syracuse Storm 7-0 on a 6-hitter. He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches." The Syracuse manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Travieso did a good job keeping us guessing." In all, the Bellevue hurler rang up 8 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win. For the season Travieso has compiled a 9-5 record with a 1.89 ERA.
