Idaho Falls-Niagara Falls Free-for-All Gets 9-Game Suspensions Saturday, June 24th, 2028 Bad blood could be brewing between the Chukars and the Expos. In yesterday's contest at Idaho Falls Park, Idaho Falls's Juan Rosado and Niagara Falls's Marnix van Rijn caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Rosado and van Rijn were ejected by the umpires. Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 9 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses. League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation. Thus far in 2028 Rosado is hitting .286 with no home runs, 12 RBIs, 25 runs scored and has compiled a .340 OBP. On the season van Rijn has a 1-6 record with a 4.58 ERA. |
