SA Awards Outstanding Pitcher Trophy Sunday, September 24th, 2028 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2028 has been presented and the USSL Single A winner is Francisco Burgos of Grim. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Burgos. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Reapers star told reporters. Burgos excelled with an impressive 9-2 record in 16 starts. In 116 innings he yielded 68 hits and 27 walks, while striking out 158 and compiling a fine 0.85 ERA. Felipe Lozano of the Alameda Airmen finished second in voting, while Jorge Travieso of the Bellevue Bruins finished third. |
