3A Awards Player of the Week Honors Monday, August 7th, 2028 Kagetoki Matsubara seems to put youthful exuberance into every pitch he throws and last week he threw up numbers that even the oldest of veterans would look at with envy. That's why the 19-year-old hurler was chosen the M3L Single A Player of the Week Award. Matsubara notched 2 wins for the Provo Mango. He finished the week with 18 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.59 while holding the opposition to a .135 average. Checking out his stats for the year, Matsubara has racked up 11 wins and 3 losses in 17 starts, 2.61 ERA and struck out 148 batters in 124 innings. |
