Season Over for Salvador Romero in Myrtle Beach
Sunday, July 16th, 2028
When Salvador Romero was hurt against the Mancelona Torch, the Myrtle Beach Seahawks were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe that first thought. The 21-year-old starting pitcher suffered a damaged elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Romero would miss 14 months of the season.

Romero has posted a 1-4 record for the year with a 4.25 ERA. Teams are hitting .308 against him and he has rung up 24 strikeouts in 53 innings.
