Dempsey Mows Down 15 Renaissance Sunday, August 6th, 2028 Panama City Piranhas starter John Dempsey brought his best stuff to The Tank today against the Detroit Renaissance, striking out 15 batters in his club's 5-0 victory. In a strong performance, the 28-year-old Dempsey gave up 5 hits in his 8 innings of work and issued 1 walk. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my curveball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me."
