The Rocky Mountain Nuggets knocked off the Grafton Middies, 5-3, at Field of the Middies. Roberto Salazar, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Rocky Mountain won. The right fielder went 4-5 with 4 singles, while scoring 3 times. Jorge Garza finished to wrap up his 22nd save. Rocky Mountain goes to 46-44, Grafton to 41-49.

José Carlos Pérez, who is rated as the 69th best prospect by BNN, aided the Rocky Mountain cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth. For the game, the catcher drew 1 walk, while adding 2 RBI.
