Rangers Walk It Off for 11th Win of Season
The Richardson City Thundercats wasted an inspired, 7.1-inning effort from starter Jesús Gonzáles, falling 2-1 to the Austin Rangers at Rangers Stadium. Austin reliever Júlio Rodríguez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bo Tubbs shouldered the loss. With the win, Austin improves its record to 11-9.

The Rangers were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when designated hitter Jesús Reyes turned a 0-1 cutter from Bo Tubbs into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent a roar through the crowd and gave Austin a thrilling 2-1 win.

After the game, Austin manager Jordan Calhoun applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
