Nuggets Take Down Aviators, 7-2
Rocky Mountain beat Seattle on the strength of starter Nathaniel Riley's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 7-2 win. Riley, now 2-8, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 2 earned runs. Hunter Wilson got credit for the save for Rocky Mountain. It was his 1st of the year.

Also playing a key role was Sergio Martínez. The Rocky Mountain shortstop hammered a grand slam home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, Martínez went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Rocky Mountain Nuggets manager Matt Hunt.

The Nuggets are now 43-41, while the Aviators fall to 37-47.
