Oaks Defeat Grey Wolves, 6-3

The Oakland Oaks eeked out a 6-3 win versus the Vancouver Grey Wolves at Wolf Den in Vancouver. Nobody did more than pitcher Ronald Harmon, who captured player of the game honors. Harmon was the winning pitcher and moves to 4-4. He threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up no walks. Júlio Saldaña got credit for the save for Oakland. It was his 5th of the year.
Also doing his part was designated hitter Jorge Vargas, who stroked a 2-run single in the top of the second for Oakland. For the game, Vargas went 1-4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Harmon.
Oakland bumps their record to 33-49 with the win.
