Express Best Piranhas in Pitching Duel
Luis Flores could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Panama City Piranhas lost, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Wizarding Express at Platform 9 3/4. Eijiro Takahashi picked up the save, his 8th. With the loss, Panama City falls to 10-9.

Tied up with the Piranhas in the bottom of the seventh, the Express got a boost from second baseman Cole Shaffer. With a runner on 2nd, Shaffer saw a first pitch fastball from Luis Flores and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Wizarding on top, 1-0.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Wizarding skipper Dan Cahill.
