Getting a good performance from first baseman Todd Henry, the Oakland Oaks defeated the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 5-4. Henry was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles for the Oaks. Oakland reliever Gerardo García picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tony Solíz shouldered the loss. The Thunder Bay losing streak has now reached 8 games.
