Ft. Worth turned a good effort from starter Juan Díaz into a win over the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at The Cattle Pen. The final score was 3-2. Jesús Rivera locked down his 1st save. The Cattlemen improved to 35-40.
One important at-bat came with a runner on 3rd in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Orlando Montoya, who is rated as the 68th best prospect by BNN, grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Cattlemen went on to win.
"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Scott Williams. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
