The Grafton Middies picked up a win at Field of the Middies, knocking off the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 5-3. Starting pitcher Dave Turner was an essential part of his team's success. Lynwood Matos got credit for the save for Grafton. It was his 9th of the year. The Middies now have a record of 24-35 with the win over Vancouver.

Mario Ramos had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the seventh for the Middies. Coming up with the bases loaded and Grafton trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run double.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Ramos.
