Loss Extends Thunder Bay Losing Streak
|
Ricardo Collazo made an impact in the 5-3 Chicago win over Thunder Bay. Collazo, who is rated as the 47th best prospect by BNN, went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Dan Crowder, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 4 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 2. His record now stands at 7-4. The save went to Javier Dávila, his 19th this season.
Also contributing to the win was designated hitter Melvin Castro, who stroked a 2-run single in the bottom of the second for Chicago. For the game, Castro went 1 for 5. He drove in 2 runs.
