The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC and Seattle Aviators cranked it up at Great Northern Field.

Getting a good performance from center fielder Jay Parker, the Seattle Aviators defeated the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 6-4. Parker was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Aviators. Sukejuro Yokoyama picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-4. He struck out 2 in 7 innings.

With Seattle trailing 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Aviators fortunes got a boost when shortstop Ethan Stanford turned a full count changeup from Leslie Brooks into his 2nd home run of the season. The hit scored 3 and put Seattle up, 3-2.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Stanford told a Seattle Gazette reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."

Their 22-29 record puts the Aviators 7th in the Silver League.
