Grey Wolves Get Past Thunder Bay for 3-1 Win
Vancouver rode a good effort from starter Erasmo Monteagudo to beat the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at Wolf Den in Vancouver. The final score was 3-1. Vancouver reliever Nelle Liefting picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Rafael Cardona shouldered the loss. With the win, the Grey Wolves improved to 17-30.

Late in the game, center fielder Ted Striker had a big at-bat for Vancouver. In the bottom of the eighth, he hit a 2-run single off Rafael Cardona. The play gave the Grey Wolves a 3-1 lead.

Monteagudo said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
