Masson came through with some timely hitting for Idaho Falls. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the second and two down, Masson hit a 2-0 fastball for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season -- and a big reason the Chukars managed to win.

Grim manager Dale Wolfe said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

Game 4 is set to be played on Monday, September 11th, 2028 at Idaho Falls Park. The scheduled starters for the game are Francisco Burgos for Grim and Vicente Romero for Idaho Falls.
