Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Northern Lions BC
Thunder Bay beat Vancouver at Great Northern Field, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Jorge Castillo, who earned player of the game honors. The 4th-place Northern Lions BC now have a win-loss record of 15-12.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 18th. That's when Thunder Bay second baseman Denis Higgins, facing Tate Beason, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Northern Lions BC the 5-4 win.

"This wasn't a good win," said Higgins. "It was a great win."
