Great Day for Castro in Gold Sox Win
Chicago designated hitter Melvin Castro picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 11-3. Shuntavyious Primes-Willes was the winning pitcher. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with no walks and 6 strikeouts. Chicago has an impressive 17-7 record.

With Chicago leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Castro hit a sinker from Ambrose Randall for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Gold Sox ahead, 3-0.
