Dragonblood Lose to Plainsmen in Walk Off
The Yellowknife Dragonblood got a sterling performance from pitcher Tony Torres, but the Plainsmen still prevailed, 3-2. Torres was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. Nebraska reliever I-tsing Ts'ong picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Pak Dong Hyeon took the loss. With the victory, the Plainsmen record now stands at 51-40.

Bob Knutson was the walk-off hero for Nebraska. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Nebraska designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a good effort all around," said Knutson.
