Dragonblood Win at South Beach, 3-2

The Dragonblood faced a stiff challenge from South Beach pitcher Malulani Anakone, but persevered to claim a win at The Ballpark on the Beach. The final score was 3-2. Anakone went 8.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. This win makes it 1 in a row for Yellowknife.
In the top of the 6th, left fielder Juan Macíel gave Yellowknife the lead when he hit a 3-run home run. The Dragonblood had been trailing 1-0, but the two-out home run off South Beach pitcher Malulani Anakone changed that -- and Yellowknife went on to win.
"We squandered some opportunities," said South Beach manager Lockwood Rose.
