Loss Extends Mt. Vernon Losing Streak
|
The Dragon Den was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Yellowknife Dragonblood and the Mt. Vernon Bulls.
The Yellowknife Dragonblood stymied the Mt. Vernon Bulls, 4-2, at The Dragon Den. Alejandro Bracamonte, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He slugged 2 home runs for Yellowknife. Roberto Muńóz earned the save for Yellowknife, his 5th.
José García was a key contributor to the win for the Dragonblood. In the bottom of the sixth with two out, the light-hitting right fielder stroked a triple to center. He went 1 for 3 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," García said.
The current losing streak for Mt. Vernon has reached 8 games.
