Black Cats Get Past Nebraska for 2-0 Win
Choquette never let Nebraska get something going. The Gwinnett County right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Black Cats to a win. Gwinnett County reliever José Quintero picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Jimmy O'Flahavan shouldered the loss. Ming-hoa Zhou notched his 25th save in 27 chances.

Gwinnett County took control in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Edgardo De Jesús hit a 2-run single to make it 2-0, Black Cats.

Choquette called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
