Visser Brilliant as Plainsmen Top Tula

Nebraska beat Chicago at Ramblers Ballpark, eking out a 10-1 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Markus Visser, who earned player of the game honors. Today's win puts Nebraska at 43-32, while Chicago falls to 38-37.
The standout performance belonged to 19-year-old Visser. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Plainsmen. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Tula, striking out 7 and scattering 5 hits over 8.1 innings. Visser is now 5-7 on the season.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Visser.
