The Columbia River Rats beat the Hogsmeade Cauldrons, 6-4, at Gators Ballpark. Columbia first baseman Robert Hillier earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs. Columbia leads the Premier A by 6 games.
Hillier had a key at-bat for Columbia early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 10th double of the season and gave Columbia an early 3-0 lead.
